Annette Mari Olsen

Born in Denmark, grew up in Iran and England. Film director, Master of Art from the Polish Film School, Lodz, 1973. Until 1977 worked as film director in Poland. Taught at the National Film School of Denmark, 1983-84. Media consultant for The Danish Refugee Council, 1986-88. Also worked as an interpreter of English, Farsi (Persian), Polish, French, and Danish, which provided the basis for a range of award-winning films about ethnic minorities in Denmark. Twice awarded the Prix Europa Special Commendation. Founded Sfinx Film/TV in 1988 together with partner and cinematographer Katia Forbert Petersen.

Katia Forbert Petersen
Cinematographer and Filmdirector
Director and Cinematographer, educated at the Polish Film school in Lodz. Has shot some 150 films, including a number of features. She also does the photography of her own films. Has won several awards as director besides winning Danish Cinematographers Association's Annual Award 1992. Special Prize - Best Photography at the ITVA festival in Copenhagen in 1997 and 1999. International award for best photography at the ITVA festival in New Orleans, USA 1998. Was awarded the Danish Film Academy Award "Robert" for co-direction of Best Short Documentary of the year 2007.

Film Producer
Karen Hjort produced her first international documentary film in 1995: an award winning portrait of the Polish Film Director: ”Krzysztof Kieslowski: I’m so-so”, directed by Krzysztof Vierzbicki. Then she produced two documentary films in Africa for Channel 4 Television, UK directed by Clive Gordon, in co-operation with the British production company October Films.
Since 2003 Karen Hjort has worked for Sfinx Film/TV as Communication Consultant, Film Producer and since 2015 as legal adviser within Film Law. Among other producer tasks she deals with the making of contracts with international broadcasters and the cooperation with EU MEDIA Development and EU MEDIA Broadcast.
